San Antonio Suburbs are Welcoming New Tenants
October 3, 2016
San Antonio’s Northwest retail submarkets have some of the fastest-growing demographics and new retail construction. Local Coffee, one of many business, is expanding to the northwestern submarkets due to the steady increase in household incomes, strong employment presence, and population growth. According to Local Coffee owner Robby Grubbs, the company will be opening two locations in the northwest. One space, of 1,400 square-feet, will be in Leon Springs with hopes of opening near the end of October. Another soon to be built space of 1,700 square-feet, at Pond Hill Shopping Center in Shavano Park, is anticipated to be opening by the end of the year. With 700,000 square-feet of new retail construction throughout the year, this could mean more business growth in the suburbs of San Antonio.
